Sorry, I know I've been hush for a seriously long time now
I've just been busy; usually work, and if it is not work, it's games.

Hey, guys! Sorry, I've been real quiet. Back in December my job was quite heavy because it was the busy season and as a result I was too tired to draw anything when I got back.

...That and because I was playing Dance Central.

Anyway, you might be wondering about what that title up there is referring to. The thing is I just got back from the hospital. I was suffering from 2nd degree hemorrhoids for a whole month now. I kept it quiet from most people thinking it would go away eventually. It didn't.

So I finally went to the hospital yesterday and, as expected, before I can go into surgery I had to prepare myself -- I had to empty my drawers completely. I was given a timetable of what to do (mostly involving me not eating and a lot of drinking up to a certain point) as well as two bottles of laxatives. I gotta tell you, this was the foulest tasting medicine I've ever had. Even recalling the taste gives me the shivers. It took about an hour for the stuff to work and, fuck, does it work. To put it simply, I really dare not wander more than 10 feet away from the toilet bowl for the entire night.

Fast forward to today and I had a colonoscopy as well as the treatment. I don't remember what happened exactly in the room. Apparently I was awake and talking according to the doctor and nurses' accounts, but I can't recall most of it because I was dosed at the time. The insertion doesn't hurt, it's the inflation part that makes it painful. Once I got into the recovery room, I was clearly the most cheerful-looking patient there despite the painkillers wearing off. A few of the nurses were laughing along with me as I was joking around. Shortly after while I felt like taking a dump. Even though I know there's nothing in there, I went to the toilet anyway. When I got to the throne it turns out it's the biggest fart I've ever taken. Eventually, I got discharged from the hospital and the first thing I wanted to do was fucking eat.

And that's my story. In celebration of this, I'm declaring "The Machineries of Joy" the song of the day! ^_^

Before I get into the matter, I would like to say I'm glad such a project has taken off and has garnered a strong support from the community; from the average folks to Hollywood celebrities. Most of them shared their experiences or their deeper personal stories and that's fine.

As some of you might have suspected, my absence was due to Fable III. Yeah I'm still playing it, I really like the game
