Raymond - 1

Remember when I mentioned about a story I wanted to make that involved 4 characters knocking heads with each other? [link] Well Raymond was another one of them. Unlike the other ones, Raymond wasn't created for that idea -- he was just added.

I created Raymond I think back in 2006 [link] I kind of liked him a lot that I had big plans for him like to include him in my games or videos I made. Fast forward to today and I can tell you that I've abandoned that plan. It's just that I've gotten older and wiser and the thing is that Raymond's actions just aren't in line with my principles anymore. He's designed as a vengeful vigilante. Not as merciless as Frank Castle, but still I don't believe in killing to make a point. Yeah, I can just probably tweak his personality and I will.

Anyway, this is one of the latest sketch I did for Raymond. You probably noticed that I've allowed his ears out of the hood now. The problem with the previous version was that his species wasn't clear enough. I mean back then I wanted to keep his identity a secret, but I also kept his species unclear. Practical, but it wasn't very interesting to look at. So I let his ears out now. The bandana head-wrap idea was something I borrowed from Swat Kats.
